In addition to website membership to allow traders to use our services, we also provide value-added services (VAS) for our members including Escrow, Escrow /i, Stock & Trade Reference Certificate and online and offline advertising services.

How to register

1. Go to 'Register Now' button on the upper left corner of our homepage to register right away.
   
2. Choose a membership plan that is suitable for you (Trial, Basic, Standard, Corporate).
3. Fill in your company information.
4. After verifying your information, we will send you a confirmation email with your account name and password. Follow the instructions in the confirmation email to start using your account.
   
   

Free Trial & 15-Day Free Standard Member
New Trial members are able to use limited buying services on our platform without any membership fees. They are also entitled to try out our Standard membership for 15 days free of charge as an evaluation period for selling inventory. Trial members will receive a 15-Day Free Standard Membership invitation via email.

1. Enter the part number into the Search input box and click the "search" button.
   
2. To search for multiple parts at the same time, go into 'Advanced Search' , click the 'Multi-Part Search' box on the bottom and separate each part number with a line break.
   
3. The 'Advanced Search' field has more fields for searching relevant results.

Posting requirements
There are 3 kinds of requirements: public (viewable by anybody), match only (suppliers can view it if they have reciprocating items), or private (cannot be viewed by anyone).

1. After you log-in, click the "buy" channel on the upper right corner of our homepage.
   
2. Click "Post requirements" and fill in the form according to your requirements. Suppliers can view and search for the parts.
   
3. Click "Match Offer/Inventory With My Requirement" ,our system can auto-match your requirements.
   

Contacting suppliers

1. Search for the parts.
2. Choose the parts you want to send RFQs for.
   
3. Fill out a form with the required part information and this will be sent to the suppliers directly. Suppliers will reply you with quotations. You can find their replies in the 'Trade Message' area.
   

Email alerts
Email alerts are a convenient and useful feature. Our system will generate matching requirements and available inventory and send them to subscribers. Users can choose to receive these email notifications in real-time or other time intervals.

Posting inventory

1. After you log-in, click the "sell" channel on the upper right corner of our homepage.
   
2. You can upload your inventory into our database in the "Post Inventory" channel. Inventory must be updated every month and you can manage your inventory records after.
   
3. Your inventory can also be tagged as offers so that buyers can search and match their requirements with your products.

Contacting buyers

1. You can view requirements from registered member or non-member.
   
2. Choose the parts you need after enter the part number in the search box.
   
3. Fill out a form with required information and it will be sent to the buyer directly. Buyer's replies can be found in the 'Trade Message' area .

No. However, becoming a STRC member will help increase your likelihood of receiving preferred ranking over similar sellers without STRC status. Because STRC members have taken the necessary steps to have their business references and in-stock items verified, buyers are strongly recommended to purchase from our certified suppliers. The strengthened buyer confidence a company acquires by becoming a STRC member in itself is a continuous promotion of the firm.

Like most widely-known search engines, HKin.com calculates rankings with a precise algorithm. Our unique search technology will display the results in order of but not limited to relevancy, post date, buyer or seller's membership status and reliability/goodwill indicators. Such indicators may include: STRC status, acceptance of Escrow service, becoming a Top 10 Escrow Supplier and other related fields. From time to time we will modify our algorithm to give you all-time fair and relevant results.

Reported Companies
We have a section in our website that can be found in the homepage that lists companies that have been previously complaint about by previous members. These are verified complaints that serve as a reminder for members who wish to deal with these companies. We strongly advise all users to consult the Reported Companies section first before they begin any online deal.
